This study examines the influence of Suluk Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah on
students' moral formation at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Saran
Kabun. Through a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data
were collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth
interviews with mursyid, ustadz/ustadzah, students, and alumni. The
results of the study show that the implementation of suluk, which is
required for students, especially in the month of Ramadan, makes a
significant contribution in three main aspects. First, suluk improves the
spiritual quality of students through intensive dhikr practices (khafi,
lathaif, nafi isbat), which foster peace of mind and closeness to Allah.
Second, suluk effectively forms mahmudah (praiseworthy) morals such
as patience, discipline, honesty, and humility, which are internalized in
daily behavior. Third, this practice encourages a shift from individual
piety to social piety, in which students become more concerned with and
responsible for their social environment. It is concluded that suluk
functions as a means of character education and comprehensive
purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs), forming the personality of
students with noble character in line with Islamic sharia values.
