Judi Online sebagai Alternatif Nafkah Hidup Bagi sebagian Umat Muslim

Abstract

This study reveals that online gambling has become an alternative livelihood for some Muslims. Data collection was conducted through interviews, where participants were asked about their online gambling transactions. The data obtained from respondents was confirmed through online news. The results show that online gambling has become a source of income for some Muslims due to the lack of alternative means to meet their living needs. The gamblers admitted to being unable to find work other than gambling. Additionally, the government and labor force have failed to provide decent job opportunities for gamblers to leave the practice. This study only describes online gambling and does not address other forms of gambling that may share similarities with this topic. Furthermore, it does not discuss legal issues related to online gambling. Future research is expected to build upon this study.
